I recently packed the motor home with hubby and pups and headed to Eugene to participate in a class from Tyler Merrill.
On arrival at her studio, I entered the land of fiber! There was every color of roving, fabric, yarn, and fiber imaginable. I arrived in heaven, for sure!
Our task was to make a scarf using a variety of background fibers. I chose black silk and began layering my fiber choices with rich browns, reds, and turquoises. Dyed cheese cloth was my favorite texture.
That day was well spent, and I left one happy girl. Tyler teaches a variety of classes. If you are interested, please Google her. Tylar is so willing to share her expertise!
